This website is for the Finongan people. The Finongan people live along the Erap River in Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea.
Translation
Bape Miring started working as a Bible translator in the Finongan language in 2003. He also serves as a manager for the Finongan webpage. He lives in Bakame village with his wife and two children.
Mandick Naun joined the team in 2016. He translated the Finongan translated Scripture back into English for consultant checking. He lives in Bakame village.
Chris Rice started working with the Finongan people in 2000 as a Bible translation advisor. He also serves as a manager for the Finongan webpage and app developer.
Literacy
Eddy Bega joined the team in 2018 teaching people to read and write the Finongan language. He and his wife live in Bakame village.
Nathan Saundi joined the Finongan team in 2023 as a literacy teacher. He and his wife and two children live in Bakame village
Amy Rice began working in the Finongan language in 2000 as an advisor to the Finongan literacy program.
